Darren Rovell Live-Tweets A Miami Practice Session He Thinks is a Match Between Federer and “Dogomolov”

Darren Rovell, an American ESPN correspondent known mostly for being pretty terrible, wanted to get in on the big sexism controversy in tennis so he could rack up those retweets.

After wading into some very scientific polling on the WTA vs. ATP this morning, Darren posted this absolutely glorious tweet with a picture from Roger Federer’s Miami practice session from today. You know, practicing because the ATP tournament hasn’t started yet.

Yes, a match vs. Dogomolov. Who’s that, you ask?

Andy Roddick was there to set him straight:

Now this is just getting sad:

Unfortunately, Darren didn’t appreciate my joke. 🙁

That photo doesn’t have a chair umpire, line judges, ballkids or a scoreboard. How has he failed to notice any of these things at professional tennis matches in 32 years?
