After last night’s match between Roger Federer and Francis Tiafoe, there were lots of fawning reviews of the late night dramatics on Ashe. But, it begs the question, what is a good five set match? Just because a match goes five sets doesn’t automatically make it good? There’s no lifetime achievement award for matches that reach a certain age — or there shouldn’t be.
