The Many Workouts of Fernando Verdasco

Fernando Verdasco just beat David Goffin 6-3, 3-6, 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 in the first round of the Australian Open. Phew! The match took three hours and twenty-two minutes. If there’s one thing for certain it’s that Fernando Verdasco is in shape. In fact, he has a much more muscular body than most tennis players. How did he get that way? Luckily for us he shares his training regimen on twitter.

Gil Reyes, of Andre Agassi fame, is his trainer/partner-in-crime.

He likes to go jogging on the treadmill.

But some days he gets tired of being an extra in an Olivia Newton John music video and decides to mix it up! He likes to get outdoors. Sometimes he goes for swims…

Thankfully it’s not all work and no play. Verdasco is a good-natured guy who seems to make new friends everywhere he goes!

    OMG the ones where he’s working out and looks like he’s in pain/constipated. And the shorts! AHHHH these made my day 🙂
