Twitter Reacts to Gstaad Giving Roger Federer A Cow Named Desirée

Gstaad gifted Roger Federer with (another!) cow named Desirée in a ceremony today. Naturally, Twitter was the best place to go for reactions to the generous gift.

(Explanation here for the Voegele reference.)

Amy can be spotted on a tennis court in the Philadelphia area, shanking backhand volleys.

Can we please have a debate between Roger Federer and Bart Simpson about the benefits and drawbacks of having a cow?

In 2003, Federer received the first cow, Juliette which did not produce milk after a few years and ended up to a slaughter house. The second cow, Desirée will be in the same fate. So, why do they give a cow to Federer?

Gstaad dairy industry uses a cow for their promotion. It’s irresponsible to give a cow to someone who can’t take care of it.

A cow is a living thing not a car. I am hugely upset about this cow thing.
