VIDEO: Caroline Wozniacki Foot Faults in Eastbourne, Argues with Chair Umpire

Caroline Wozniacki got called for a foot fault on a second serve in her match against Ekaterina Makarova in Eastbourne, a call she disagreed with. Wozniacki’s had her run-ins with chair umpires before, and they’re usually entertaining. Here’s the video from today:

Some highlights:

Wozniacki: “Maybe she doesn’t know the rules. Do you know you’re allowed to go over?”

Wozniacki: “I think she just wants to be important.”

Chair umpire, as Wozniacki argues with the line judge: “Caroline, that’s it. Caroline, we need to play now … let’s go.”

Amy can be spotted on a tennis court in the Philadelphia area, shanking backhand volleys.

I’ve no idea who the umpire is but I like her way of ending the discussion and standing up to Caroline here. Hopefully we see more of her and more of this officiating

Me thinks Caroline’s daddy dearest would have been pleased not to but in on this one, as he too would have been “owned” by the umpire. More of her please for these cry babies.
