VIDEO: Sloane Stephens Calls Serena Williams’ “Come Ons” Disrespectful

After dropping the first set, 6-4, to Serena Williams in Brisbane, Sloane Stephens was frustrated by Williams’ shouts, calling them “disrespectful” during an on-court coaching session.

ain’t dat d truth, Aube! The silliness of his girl. Is this the first match she’s ever played in which her opponent yelled “come-on”; please! I like Sloane, but this was so silly & unnecessary.

I’m shocked that Slone would say that. Disrespectful??? Where have you been? This is how most of the players on tour pump themselves up. What’s disrespectful about that? I’m really disappointed that you would think that about your ” mentor” let alone say it. I was with you until you uttered those words to your coach. Sounds like a kid making excuses to me.
